Sony FX3

Our second camera. The same full-frame look as the FX6 in a body small enough to fly on a gimbal.

The Sony FX3 is the second camera in the ACOCA Media kit. It comes from the same Sony Cinema Line as our FX6 and produces a matching picture, in a body not much bigger than a stills camera. It travels with our camera crew in Bangkok on every shoot.

What it means for your shoot

A second angle on every interview without a second set of problems in the edit. The FX3 and FX6 match in colour and look, so the two cut together cleanly. Because it is small, it is also the camera that goes on the gimbal, into cars and into tight spaces where a bigger camera would get in the way.

Ready for broadcast and streaming

Like the FX6, the FX3 is a Netflix-approved camera. It records in 4K in the formats networks and streamers ask for.

Where it fits

Second angle on sit-down interviews, moving shots on the gimbal, b-roll and behind-the-scenes, and as a lightweight main camera when the job calls for a small footprint.
