Production

Viltrox DC-X3

Our field monitors. Bright six-inch screens so the operator and the producer both see the shot.

Two Viltrox DC-X3 monitors travel with the ACOCA Media kit. They are six-inch screens that mount on the camera or sit on a stand nearby.

What it means for your shoot

Everyone who needs to see the picture can see it. One monitor stays with the camera for focus and framing. The other goes to the producer or director, so they can watch the interview without standing over the operator's shoulder.

Bright enough for outdoors

The screens are bright enough to read in daylight, which matters in Thailand. They also show exposure and focus aids, so problems are caught on location instead of in the edit.

Where it fits

Every shoot. Interviews with a producer on site, outdoor work in bright sun, and gimbal shots where the camera's own screen is hard to see.

GREAT FOR

  • Producers and directors watching the shot live
  • Outdoor shoots in bright sun
  • Checking focus and exposure on location
  • Gimbal work

WORTH KNOWING

  • For a large client group we add a bigger screen
  • For remote producers we send a live feed to Zoom or Teams instead
