Power
Power
Enough battery power for a full day in the field, with no hunting for a power socket.
A shoot day should never stop because something went flat. The ACOCA Media kit carries enough battery power to run the cameras, monitors, wireless and lights through a full day away from mains power.
IDX V-Mount batteries
IDX is a broadcast standard for camera batteries. The kit carries several IDX Micro V-Mount batteries, which are small and light enough to sit on the back of the camera without making it heavy, plus some high-load IDX batteries for power-hungry lights.
Great for: all-day camera running, powering lights on location, long live shots
Worth knowing: each battery is under 100Wh, so they travel in carry-on luggage on most airlines
Camera batteries
Plenty of Sony batteries for both cameras, so the FX3 on the gimbal and the FX6 on the tripod never wait for a charge.
Charging
An IDX dual charger for the V-Mount batteries and a high-power USB-C charger for everything else, so the whole kit can be recharged overnight in a hotel room.
GREAT FOR
- Full days away from mains power
- Running lights on location with no socket nearby
- Long live shots and events
- Flying with the kit, since the batteries are carry-on friendly
WORTH KNOWING
For multi-day shoots in remote areas we plan charging stops or a generator
